Aqua Resort defeated Fiesta/ Grand on Monday last week, with Jhun Estolas pounding the opponents with four consecutive three-point shots in the first quarter and went on with his three-point spree in the second and third quarter for his total of 21 points in the game.
Kelvin Fitial helps make Aqua Resort a power house in the league taking numerous rebounds as he too, blasted with double figure points during the regular season.
Hyatt Regency Saipan however, has the tandem of Jericho Cruz and Bernardine Aquino who clobbered Pacific Island Club with 29 and 27 points respectively during last week’s decisive game.
With only Chris Arreza on the side, Hyatt Regency should also aim at limiting the scoring hands of Aqua Resort’s Estolas who in turn have proven enough he can deal with Cruz both in defense and offense.
The championship game starts at 4 p.m., following the battle for third place between Fiesta/Grand and PIC.
The invitational caging championship is presented by Budweiser.
