The Jets did not make it to the finals and settled for the third place due to uniform faux pas during the play off game against the Lion King but they had Aughenbaugh who rose to the top of the batters’ list.
At 52 at-bats, he had 27 base hits beating Senior champion Fielders’ Juan Maratita by one.
Aughenbaugh also scored the most runs during the regular season scoring 24. He also had the highest numbe of RBI’s sending 23 base runners, and homered four times, the most home runs in the Seniors’ division
His team mate, Joshua Jones knocked in a total of six triples, and Fielders’ Nokki Saralu and Peter Tenorio both had seven doubles.
Meanwhile, Joe Palacios also of Jets topped the ERA leaders, garnering 0.95 ERA, followed by Fielders’ Tom Agulto with 1.05 ERA.
Saralu topped the strike out leaders with 45 strike outs.
Jets’s Jones and Harry Nakamura trailed with 44 and 42 strike outs respectively.
