BANMI is inviting all basketball league organizers, team managers and coaches to participate in a discussion with FIBA Oceania, Zone Development Officer Ryan Burns.
BANMI President Mr. Elias Rangamar announced that the forum will be held at 6:30 p.m. today at the Gilbert C. Ada gym conference room.
Burns arrived on Saipan last Feb. 5 for a two-week tour in the CNMI.
Rangamar said that with the enduring evolution of modern basketball and as the governing body of basketball in the CNMI, BANMI has an obligation to provide a unified and comprehensive structure for all of the basketball stakeholders in the islands.
To accomplish this, he said “we need the feedback of all the basketball league organizers on sharing ideas and building partnership in building credibility, consistency and order to our basketball environment in the CNMI.”
