This year’s event, according to Trench Tech president Cuki Alvarez will feature exciting matches between the up-and-coming MMA fighters from Tinian and Saipan.
Craig “Earthquake” Borja who had proved himself during the Rites of Passage 8 Fearless by defeating one of Guam’s best fighters, Frank Benavente, will face an equally tough and young fighter from Saipan, whose name is Carl “Face” Takai, who also did a stunning fight performance in the ROP 8.
There will 10 to 12 fights Alvarez said adding that Giovanni Palacios Sablan will fight one of the three fighters from the Philippines.
There will also be one MMA fighter from South Korea, and the rest will be from Guam, some of whom are expected to regain the title they lost in the previous events.
