THE Bikini Bangers and Kiss My Ace bagged their first wins on Wednesday night, besting their respective opponents in the men’s and women’s divisions of 4 Starz Marianas Club’s 2nd Annual Fall Fest Volleyball Tournament 2025, at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium
In the men’s division, the Bikini Bangers defeated Angry Penne in two straight sets. Team captain Greg Perez orchestrated the offensive attack with well-placed bumps and sets, while Jalen Nicholas and Francisco Rogopes finished each possession with powerful spikes to establish early control.
Although Angry Penne struggled early, their chemistry gradually synced, led by Kevin Calibo, Aldrich Delos Santos, and Yuri Salvani. However, despite their efforts, miscommunications and overpowered returns led to a 25-17 loss in the first set.
In the second set, Angry Penne initially took control but eventually faltered due to defensive lapses. The Bikini Bangers closed the gap as Achilles Evangelista and Tony Atalig contributed key blocks and saves, securing the set 25-21 and the match.
Women’s division
Kiss My Ace joined the winner’s circle with a two-set victory over Heaven on Earth. The first set featured back-and-forth action, with veterans Tony Yamada and Kathy Winkfield controlling the tempo for Heaven on Earth, supported by Chenny Lizama, Dayna Macaranas, and Kaia Travilla.
Kiss My Ace, however, displayed greater precision and defensive awareness, covering the weak side and executing strong blocks and placement returns to clinch the first set 25-21. With momentum on their side, they dominated the second set, breaking down Heaven on Earth’s morale to secure a 25-14 win and their first victory of the season.
Coed division
In the coed division, 4 Starz defeated DFEMS in straight sets, 25-12, 25-12.
