The Captains/organizers/press meeting was held last Monday at the VFW Post. Many rules were discussed for the upcoming league. ALL players must pay a $25 fee for the 1st team and $15 for each additional team. Each team must have a minimum of 4 players and a maximum of 8; at least 4 players must be registered and paid before the league starts so that they may be included in the roster and schedule for competitions; the rest of the 4 players (upon choice) may be paid before the 1st competition night.
It was highly emphasized that the team captain should make sure that their players are paid for before they play.
All captains will be provided with a roster. If the players name is on the roster they may play if not, they may discuss with a SEDA official why their names are not listed down.
There was a delinquent list that was distributed during an earlier meeting. If anyone would like to play for this up coming season but their names are on that list they must pay for the past dues and the current dues. In the event that someone is caught playing without paying the fees the 1st offense -the player’s win will be forfeited and a warning will be issued to them. The 2nd offense-the entire match will be forfeited. And the 3rd match-the entire team will be forfeited.
During the entire BudLight league, the home bar should always be the underdog’s bar. Predetermined brackets shall be followed based on the end season’s ranking. In both the C-division and the Women-s division there will be no handicap this season.
The SEDA officials have decided that the criteria for the Most Valuable Player for this season are as follows:
60%-Wins/assist, 10%-feats, and 10%-Attendance, 10%-Weighted average, and 10%-Payment.
The Officials also decided that the Top Gun must have the highest weighted average (WA) and 80% attendance. Pins and patches will be distributed during the awards banquet.
Team captains must write down the stats clear and separate the Win & Assist for the partner’s game. In the partner games, record the player who shot the winning dart as a “win”. Due to adamant players and their demands the SEDA officials moved the payment dues to July 31, 2010.
The SEDA competition will start on Monday August 2, 2010. Good luck to all.
