THE Black 8 Bull Breakers are quickly rising in the ranks of the 2024 SEDA Bud Light Dart League’s A Division with 170 wins after dominating Tambayan GVD Mixed, 14-3, at the Tambayan Resto-Bar & Grill on Monday night.

GVD Mixed drew first blood in the opening set of the Singles Regular Cricket games led by Max Akko with 3.86 PPD or points per darts, and Mayson “Black Tip” Umulap. But the Bull Breakers’ Mark Castro and Jose Bozu Villagomez also won a set to tie the game, 2-2.

That was the end for GVD as they were nearly silenced for the rest of the match.

The Bull Breakers’ near-flawless performance started with Litulumar and Jose Villagomez, and Vince “The Rocket” Cepeda and Mark Castro, who pulled a two-win sweep in the Partners 701 games. As individuals, they were also unstoppable, recording a four-win sweep in the Singles Half-It games.

With a commanding lead, Bull Breakers were able to get their subs in the action. Cepeda and Elijah “MVP” Muna, together with Kristopher Yangilmau and Litulumar, notched another two-win sweep in the Partners Crazy Cricket games to further solidify their lead.

Before accepting defeat, GVD Mixed’s Akko managed to bag a solo win with an 18.56 PPD against Cepeda who had a 16.93 PPD in the opening game of the Singles 501 bouts. The Bull Breakers then claimed the remaining three games that was punctuated by their victory in the final Team 1101 Cherry In/Double Out game to seal the deal, 14-3.
