With starting pitcher Weninser Namelo striking out two in the top of the first, the Fielders held the D-9ers scoreless in two straight innings.
JR Sablan and Tom Agulto had RBI single apiece to put up the Fielders’ lead in the bottom of the second.
Jared Camacho tripled for the D-9ers, then, they tied the ball game in the top of the third with Eric Tenorio hitting an RBI single and Chad Atalig, an RBI double.
After the Fielders’ one-run bottom of the third, the D-9ers tied the ball game again in the top of the fourth with Isaiah Lizama scoring a run on an error.
The Fielders endured a scoreless inning this time and the D-9ers bounced back in the top of the fifth inning with Mart Sablan driving in a run, Lizama and Jared Camacho knocking in a run-scoring single apiece.
The Fielders came back in the sixth with Ben Flores and Celis hitting a two-run triple apiece.
