Following a deadlock with the Pilots at the end of the third quarter, the Cellular Pros broke through their opponents’ defense with several shots from Roger Herrera and Michael Palacios.
Herrera darted past the Pilots with his lay ups, making a total of 11 points in the final quarter. He was assisted by Palacios, who scored three more points before the game ended.
The Pilots didn’t give up without a fight, with Sonny Lerio still hammering several undefended jumpers. After a quick turnover, Lerio also made a three-pointer, giving his team a chance to turn the game around.
Herrera sealed the game with a few free throws, bringing his team five points ahead of the Pilots.
The court favored the Pilots in the first half when they gained a 20-14 lead against the Cellular Pros. Lerio had a good start during the first and second quarter, where he shot four three-pointers. Lerio earned the highest score in the game with 25 points while Herrera came second with 17.
