The CNMI team composed of team captain, Gary Sword, Continental Airlines’ Jonathan Deloso and Jack Ading caught their winning 552 pounds Marlin and 29 pounds Wahoo during the first day of the tournament.
On board True Blue captained by Mark Carey, the NMI anglers added a 12-pound Wahoo that helped them get the second place in overall total points.
The winning catches were donated to the Majuro Hospital.
Sword and his team mates also won second place with their six-pound Mahi-mahi which they caught on the second day on board XXXX captained by Ben Reimers.
During that day they caught again two Marlins that contributed 200 points to their tally.
