The team, Jordan Kosam said is currently working closely with the golf links to schedule golf tournaments to help subsidize the team travel cost and lodging.
So far, he said they have identified the dates for fundraising tournaments.
Aug. 16 is set at Coral Ocean Point. Tournament fee is $40 exclusive of green fee. Format will be low-net category and winners will be based on the number of participants.
It is the same format of golf that they utilize on their regular monthly tournaments, Kosam said.
They are also targeting Sept. 5 as the main golf tournament fundraiser. The venue and format have yet to be finalized.
“We should release more information soon,” he said.
They will also hold a luncheon fundraiser on Sept. 10 at the Kilili beach park in Susupe.
Additional information will also be released as the team gets closer to this event.
“The Pacific Mini Games is just around the corner since we are working extra hard to meet our goals. We would like to encourage our golf communities and supporters to kindly come out and help support in our efforts of representing CNMI during these games,” Kosam said.
