Composed of Yutaka Gibbons Jr. , Viola Kanai, Jamie Ngirausui, and Kenny Reklai, Team Sam’s Tour labored the hard way as they went to defeat Team Vets in two straight sets with a score of 21 – 18 and 21 – 16 in the consolation to game en route to the finals competition against the well rested team, Team Yamaha. Apparently, without loosing their aggressiveness and precise ball handling during certain rally, Sam’s Tour were able to thump Team Yamaha once more within two sets, 21 – 19 and 21 – 17, and claim the championship title.
As a result, Team Yamaha took second place while Team Vets settled for third spot after a two – day competition that was made up of 11 teams. Among the participating that played for the event were Team Cliffside, Spy – Dinalz, DropOff, PPR 1, Wahoo, PPR 2, Odai and Tebelik.
