‘Collision’ features young blood’s thirst for triumph

The match between Chris “No Luv” Laayug and Jon “The Heat” Delos Reyes will also high light Trench Tech’s Collision at the World Resort’s Royal Taga Hall on July 31.

Laayug of Trench Tech Purebred Saipan has just landed a fighting career for two years yet, he already holds a record of five wins and one loss.

On the other hand, Delos Reyes of Guam’s Team Countershot had his first successful Pacific Extreme Combat fight and haven’t lose yet   but assured to give his opponent “e very tough run.”

Laayug is considered one of the top 145-lbs fighters in the CNMI, while Delos Reyes has shown a very promising future from his first PXC fight.

Laayug debut fight was during the Rites of Passage 4 The Uproar which was held in support of the troops. He also fought in the Trench Warz 8 Kontra; Rites of Passage 5 Raging Warriors where he beat ace fighter, Derrick “El Peligro” Rangamar on unanimous decision.

He suffered only one loss in Pacific Extreme Combat  15-”Dead  Game”

At 19, Laayug has a long MMA career ahead of him, according to his promoter, Cuki Alvarez.

Training under the tutelage of Guam’s Gold medalist in SPG in Tae Kwon Do- Mr. Sonny Chargualaf, Delos Reyes is a young up and comer in the MMA as he also holds a one win no loss record in kick boxing.

At 21, Delos Reyes is noted as being “the next big thing” in the 145-lbs class on Guam.
