BRAVO Da Wookies and seven other teams defeated their respective Bud Light Cup opponents in the Thursday Flame Tree B Division of the 2023 SEDA Bud Light Dart League.
Da Wookies on Thursday bested the 9Eleven Tracy Smokers, 8-3.
The Tracy Smokers drew first blood with Adarino Halito and Robert Tatuwo bagging the first game, but Da Wookies’ Jacob “Jakestar” Itibus and Chicko Arurang clinched the second game to end the Partners 501 match in a tie, 1-1.
In the one-on-one scene, Da Wookies; Arurang, Itibus, and Ethan “The Situation” Laniyo triumphed for a 3-1 run. Their team’s momentum continued to build after they swept the next Partners 701 match to add two more wins and expand their lead 6-2.
The Tracy Smokers tried to stop the bleeding with Max Akko winning the first game of the Singles Half-It match, but they could not prevent Da Wookies from claiming the remaining two wins needed to secure the win, 8-3.

Joining the winner’s circle were the Bistro Marianas Flight Bros., who beat Jonny’s Boozeye, 8-4; the Bourbon Drunken Dartz, who trounced Spicy Thai Ridin Darrty KEV, 8-3; Bistro Marianas Chamlau, who outshot Spicy Thai Na Bali Last Dart B, 8-2; Oleai Punk Pank, who outplayed Bistro Marianas Beer Pressure, 8-3; and Flamingo NoSkillsJustLuck, who outlasted Spicy Thai Ridin Darty B, 8-5.
