BRAVO Dart A Holics and Black 8 Darty Minds are one step closer to the Bud Cup finale in the ladies division of the 2024 SEDA Bud Light Dart League after eliminating their respective opponents on Monday last week.
Bravo Dart A Holics advanced to the semifinals after easing past True North Dartified, 8-3.
Dartified seemed to be on the right track as they started strong with Vanessa Williams and Janae Cabrera, along with Nina Sablan and Jennifer Rosario, sweeping the opening set of Partners 301 games, 2-0.
However, that was nearly the end of Dartified’s parade as the Dart A Holics took over the show by showcasing their individual skills with Agatha Repeki, Heather Blesam, Becky Repeki, and Keyomi Repeki sweeping the Singles Crazy Cricket game to snatch the lead, 4-2.
They notched another two-win sweep in the Partners 501 Open In/Double Out games to further extend the gap, 6-2.
Dartified’s Cabrera tried to stop the bleeding by claiming the first game of the Regular Half-It game, but Keyomi and Becky Repeki bagged the remaining two games needed to secure the match for the Dart A Holics, 8-3.
Darty Minds vs Pues OK
Also advancing to the semis were Black 8 Darty Minds who edged Tambayan Pues OK, 8-6.
The opening Partners 301 games were split evenly, 1-1. Pues OK then took control with a 3-1 run in the Singles Crazy Cricket games, but the Darty Minds won 2-0 in the Partners 501 games for a 4-4 deadlock.
The Darty Minds were able to ride the momentum in the Singles Half-It games with Tahannie Dela Torre, Jamata Castro, and Shirley Mendiola scoring a 3-1 run while teammates Raygina Saka and Iden Canolo collected the eighth and final win to seal the deal, 8-6.
Today, Monday, Jan. 6, Dart A Holics will face True North Lady Langilang, while Black 8 Darty Minds will take on 6JMS Vicious to determine who will compete for the ladies division championship.
