DCCA goes for 9th win as Budweiser Inter-government softball resumes

DCCA sluggers were last night flexing their muscles preparing for the first game against Law & Order which needed to win in order to survive.

Law & Order sluggers lagged one game behind after Docomo pounded them, 26-2 the latest game last month prior to the holiday season break.

DCCA secured place on the top with raging home runs pounding Commonwealth Ports Authority, 38-13 during the Dec. 18 game.

Last night’s second game will Commonwealth Utilities Corp. ladies’ chance to survive as they needed three win to clinch for playoffs. They will face DCCA women who are in the second place but way behind Northern Marianas College—Proas.

No Zone is also set to grab seventh win if they happened to bury Division of Environmental Quality/Coastal Resource Management deep down to bottom. But may not be the case, DEQ/CRM showed its might last month as they defeated Commonwealth Health Center, 13-9.

DCCA’s Mel Sakisat tops the batting leaders with an average of .778 in the latest individual statistics while Freedom Air’s Roque Camacho leads the pitchers with 1.62 ERA in 26 innings.

In Ladies Division, Bert Camacho tops the batting leaders with .700 average and Finance’ Bego Camacho gets the highest ERA of 2.97 among the pitching leaders.
