DCCA hands CHC 6th loss in women’s softball

DCCA pitcher, Eliza Matsumoto held the CHC into scoreless first and final innings, while outfielders kept the ground untouched by the ball in the third and fourth to secure their 6-5 victory.

She struck out two, gave up five hits and allowed five runs.

Matsumoto also hit run-scoring single, and Erica Tenorio rocketed a single hit to drive her in for the winning run in the final inning.

Doris Rangamar and Ruth Sakisat added one RBI.

  P&S 14, PSS 7

In Men’s Division, P&S routed Public School System, 14-7.

Mark Flores tripled for his three RBIs while both Stanley Laniyo and Jess Mesa drove in two runs.

Mike Sablan struck out only one but at bats, he sent Jack Reyes home in the third inning to stretch the lead.

P&S finally left PSS behind as batters blasted with base hits and forced PSS pitcher to grant them base on ball twice.
