Diaz who beat Ervin Cruz in a neck-and-neck 100-meter dash; 200-meter sprint and 800-meter run also leaped to the farthest point in the long jump besting three other boys including his sprint rival, Cruz.
Diaz ran 14.50 seconds ahead of Cruz who clocked at 15.39 seconds. He also completed the 800-meter run in three minutes and five seconds against Cruz’ 3:25 minutes.
Diaz went 4.94 meters in the long jump beating Hui Jin Kim who had 4 meters, Marlin Peterson, 3.34 meters and Cruz, 2.90 meters.
He also hurled the farthest ball in shot put landing the ball 8.48 meters far. James Manglona placed second with 7.66 meters; Cruz, 7.53 meters and Shito Cheng 7.11 meters.
Cruz topped the javelin throw as he landed 24.80 meters far beating Jae Hoon Shin who threw 18.54 meters; Diaz, 17.40 meters and Petersson 10.07.
In the 14-and-under boys, Adam Cabrera reaped victories in three events. He ran 14 seconds fast in 100-meter sprint to beat Francisco Sanchez Jr., (14.29), Hermes Ramos (14.38), John Untalan (15.89) and Eric Hofschneider (16.88).
Cabrera also crossed the finish line first in the 3,000-meter run finishing with 13:33 minutes leading Shitong Chen who had it in 14:55 minutes and Jae Hoon Shin, 15:45 minutes.
Cabrera also jumped the longer distance than his lone competitor, Yun Ha Seo who leaped 3.74 meters far.
Francisco Sanchez Jr., who ran 29.63 seconds fast in the 200- meter sprint, beat Cabrera who had it in 30.11 seconds, while Hermes Ramos trailed with 35.48 seconds.
In the 1,500-meter run Shitong Chen beat his lone rival, John Untalan by 36 seconds. Chen hit the finish line at 7th minute while Untalan arrived at 7:36.
Untalan on the other hand, beat Kyle Sandbergen in the discus throw. He threw it 17.68 meters while Sandbergen, 14.04 meters.
Sandbergen got even with Untalan in the shot put tossing 9.27 meters far against Untalan’s 7.61 meters.
In the 14-and-under girls, Raynalynn Borja beat Seo Yun Ha in the 100-meter dash by one minute. Borja finished it in 16.77 seconds while Ha, 17.74 seconds. Borja also beat Ha in the 800-meter running 3:37 minutes against her lone rival who had it in 3:45.
Borja also ran 7:16.9 minutes as the lone wolf in the 1,500 meters.
Hui Jin Kim was the lone runner in the 18-and-under girls’ 800-meter and 1,500-meter runs which she finished 3:33 minutes and 8:24.3 minutes respectively.
