Dickinsons top radio car race

The older Dickinson battled it out for the lead with Paul Salalila in the 1/8 Nitro Truggy Class qualifying race.

Dickinson beat the time to be the top qualifier and at the same had a good start to lead the main race keeping Salalila behind to settle for the second place.

Rodney Catalla had an early flame-out and after two laps, broke a hinge pin leading him to out of the race and gave Jojo Saracho the chance to win the third slot.

In the electric short course class, Dickinson’s son, Jude Jr. topped the qualifying time.

Catalla did not have the same problem he had in the truggy, so he made it to the front and win the first place.

Catalla went consistent to lead Leo Gatus who went second and Jude Jr., settling for third in this class.

Held once a month, the radio-controlled car race has been around on Saipan since 2000 and have grown to 20 members today according to Catalla.

Catalla said any one who has radio-controlled racing car are welcome to join their group.
