TOM Yum Drunken Dartz will celebrate twice as hard at the awards banquet for the 2024 SEDA Bud Light Dart League, as they claimed their second title — the Latte Stone B Division Bud Light Cup — by defeating the 6JMS Bandits, 8-5, at Tom Yum Restaurant on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Both teams were evenly matched. Drunken Dartz’s Justin Reyes and Chicko Arurang drew first blood to claim the first game of the Partners 501 set while the Bandits’ Jovohni Santos and Olkeril Techur bagged the next game for the first deadlock of the match.

However, in the one-on-one scene, the Drunken Dartz proved to be superior. Although the Bandits’ Greg Sablan won the first game of the Singles Crazy Cricket set, Drunken Dartz’s Alex Villazon, Arurang and Joe Mariur bested their respective opponents for a 3-1 run that gave their team a 4-2 lead.

The Bandits did their best to close the distance, but the Drunken Dartz split the Partners 701 and Singles Half-It sets to stay afloat.

The Bandits still had a chance to stay in the fight, but they failed to kill Drunken Dartz’s momentum as Reyes and Arurang worked well together to clinch the first game of the Partners Regular Cricket set, which was the eighth and final win needed to secure the match, 8-5, and bring home the Latte Stone B Division Bud Light Cup.
