E-LAND bagged their third win in the 2024 R&J Wine and Liquor Inter-Government/Business League by trouncing Coca Cola, 98-78, at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium in Susupe on Tuesday.

E-Land seized control right from the start with Reymark Castro scoring six consecutive points while teammates John Bayking and Japhet Villegas took over the spotlight with seven and four points, respectively, to push a nine-point lead, 27-18.

Although Coca Cola’s Jeffrey Yugummang, Jun Escalada, and Mejune Mariano were able to deliver on the offensive end, their team lacked the height needed to defend well.

E-Land capitalized on the mismatch by using Bayking to constantly attack the rim as he highlighted the second period with 10 points to stretch his team’s lead, 56-35.

Coca Cola’s biggest runs were seen in the third quarter as Yugummang and Aeron Villacrusis found their rhythm, leading the charge with back-to-back buckets. But E-Land had an answer for every shot and maintained efficiency throughout the fourth to secure the win with ease, 98-78.
