Eight coaches receive NMIFA diploma

THE NMI Football Association last Wednesday awarded coaching diplomas to eight football team leaders who completed the Category “C” coaching course under the Asian Football Confederation Coaching Convention.

The new coaches received their diplomas prior to the sendoff ceremony at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym for the NMI national team players, who will compete in Hanoi, Vietnam, in the AFC U17 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers from Nov. 22 to 30, 2025.

Those receiving coaching diplomas were Kanoa Football Club’s Catherine Attao-Toves, NMI Women’s National Team’s Bernadette Horey, MP United’s Doemiko Flores, Kanoa FC’s Brian Lubao, Daniell Mar Pablo and Aloyzeus Angeles, NMI Men’s National Team’s Sunjoon Tenorio, and Faire Football Club’s Jody O’Sullivan.

NMIFA President Jerry Tan presented the diplomas in the presence of other NMI officials, players, parents, and members of the community.
