Even game for MPU, IFC in women’s futsal

IFC tallied its second draw since a 3-3 tie versus Tan Holdings FC-B last month.

Korapin Sareebutr secured their lone goal 5:34 in the first half while MPU’s Lisha Zhu evened the game 11 minutes later.

IFC holds the better record at seven wins and four losses despite an up-and-down performance earlier this season.

MP United (3-9) survived Paire FC B, 4-1 before taking shutout losses from Shirley’s FC B and Matansa FC B.

IFC B cruised to a 5-0 shutout win over Marianas High School B last week Monday.

In an earlier match up, Paire FC B recovered from last week and downed Tan Holdings FC B, 3-1 for its sixth win.

THFC’s early game lead quickly disappeared after Chirapan Mcguire’s goal 18 minutes in the first half. Paire launched goals from Temary Gramlich and Maria Ornes to end the second half.

Shirley’s vs. IFC in A Division finals

Meanwhile, Independent FC A delivered a 4-0 shutout win against Paire FC A to notch the last finals seat in the competitive division.

Paire — holding a 4-2 record — left the court disappointed after drawing no goals against their third-ranked opponent.

Pratoom Stoffer, Baothiang Khankaew, and Catherine Perry took turns at the net to lift their team to tonight’s championship.

They’ll be facing top seeded Shirley’s FC, which remained unbeaten with six wins and 38 goals during regular season.

SFC eliminated MP United A in the semifinals.
