The Ray’s rallied with a four-run fourth inning but collapsed with no runs in the fifth and sixth innings.
Falcons’ catcher and relief pitcher Logan Martin went 2-for-3 with three runs, landing an RBI double at the bottom of the fifth. Matt Hamilton scored their final run on an error. Travis Malwebug slowed the Ray’s with four strikeouts in three innings. Martin, Hamilton, Juan Quitugua added six strikeouts and gave up five runs on two hits.
Rays’ second baseman Cody Omengkar delivered a two-run triple at the top of the fourth. Jay Kalen and JD Delos Santos earned one RBI apiece.
The Falcons will face the Juan S. Tenorio Jets at 12 p.m. tomorrow. The Bank of Saipan Red Sox and Junior Police Officer Program Enforcers will play in a following game.
