Falcons turn ire at Strikers; Ol’ Aces in 9-game sweep

AJ Evangelista knocked in a run-scoring single to secure the lead in the bottom of the first inning and the Falcons continued the surge all the way to the ball game for the 10-run mercy rule.

Evangelista struck out seven and gave up three base hits to help hold the Strikers scoreless.

Angel Palacios drove in a run with walk and Evangelista fired a two-run single in the third inning. Palacios popped a two-run single in the fourth and Evangelista drove him in with a single to go 3-for-3.

Braves 6, Falcons 5

During last Saturday’s game, Palacios and Evangelista did not hit an RBI and the Falcons failed to keep their lead against the Tanapag Braves who handed them their second loss.

Franklin Matthew Lizama replaced starter, Bradley Lieto on the mound and added seven strike outs.

Ian Norita singled and tied the ball game on an error during the sixth inning and David Lionel Mawelbug singled before scored the winning run on a passed ball.

Ol’ Aces 10, Braves 9

Starting pitcher, Terson Jason Eina tripled and scored a run on an error at the left field, Virgil Secharmidal drove in run to maintain the gap in the top of the fourth inning yesterday.

Eina struck out seven before he was relieved on the mound by Michael Muna who added six strike outs.

Jesse Brel stole the home base to add a run and make the Ol’ Aces stronger. The Braves scored two more runs but Muna’s two strike outs finished them off.

Lions 11, IT &E 0

After being struck out in the top of the first, Elias Maliti Jr., had three base hits and went 3-for-4 helping the Kagman Little Lions rout IT&E.

He fired an RBI single in the third inning before Goddhy Taitingfong drove him in with a single as well.

Malite knocked in a two-run double in the fourth, then, repeated it in the fifth.

Marcelino Ogo added a run with single.

Twins 10, Hustlers 4

Darrion Jones hit an RBI single before RJ Sablan rocketed a run-scoring home run in the top of the first inning and Tommy Joe Cango added a run-scoring single to help the As Matuis Twins beat the Hustlers, 10-4.

Ernest Sablan fired an RBI double in the third inning and the Twins never trailed.

Survivors 11, JPO Enforcers 1

James Kintaro fired a three-run home run and the Survivors pounded the JPO Enforcers, 11-1 last Saturday.

Truman Shiro doubled and Jerry Kintol drove him in with double before Kintaro swung for the home run.

Caleb Takao drove in a run with a single then, Kintaro fired a two-run triple.

Anthony Scott Deleon Guerrero drove in a run and the Survivors secured their win.

Red Sox 14, As 1

Jhace Palacios fired a two-run Triple, Craig Aguon knocked-in a run-scoring single and Franko Nakamura hit a one-run double to put up the lead for the Red Sox in the bottom of the second inning.

The lead went strong when Jadrien Camacho fired a two-run single and the Red Sox never looked back.

Camacho and Aguon added RBI single apiece.
