Ayana Rengiil a 3rd grader in SDA ; Kaito Fuji, a 5th grader in Maris Stella, Abigail Gbewonyo, 8th grader in Maris Stella and Maricar Otto 10th grader are the students who will fly to Guam on June 16-22 to compete in the tennis tournament.
The four young tennis players are being trained by their coach Ernestine Rengiil and assistant coach Noel Reyes.
Rengiil said the tournament is annual event that is a gathering of young athletes in the Pacific ages 8 to 18.
She said the four were selected for their dedication in learning the sports.
She is also encouraging the community to help the young athletes in their tournament in Guam.
Two of those who will finish in the top three places in the NPQ will receive an invitation to compete in the Pacific Oceania Junior Championships and Oceania Closed Junior Championships or Oceania Plate in August.
Rengiil said the training is conducted almost every week until the competition in Guam.
