Interested fishermen from Saipan, Tinian, and Guam are invited to participate in the 2010 Luta Fishing Derby starting at October 7 to October 8, 2010 from 6:00am to 6:00pm.
A grand prize of $10,000 is up for grabs for marlins caught at 500 pounds and above on game day; winner with the heaviest fish goes home with ten thousand dollars.
This competition is also sponsored by the Ambros Inc. Other cash prizes will also be offered in the bill fish category, Wahoo category, Yellow Fin category, Mahi category, and Bonita tuna category are also up for grabs. First place, second place, and third place will be awarded with cash prizes as well.
Fishermen from Saipan and Guam upon registration will be allowed to start fishing along their way to Rota.
