FRANCISCO M. Sablan Middle School remains unscathed in the boys middle school division of the PSS-NMIVA Interscholastic Volleyball League SY24-25 as they bagged their third consecutive win by beating Tanapag Middle School at the Marianas High School gym on Tuesday.

FMS controlled the pace throughout the game.

In the opening set, FMS went for the aggressive approach, applying offensive pressure to set the tone. Jairus Pangelinan, alongside Vince Eusebio and Jean Paul Reyes, led the onslaught with aces that were complemented by strong overhead serves and spike finishes to give FMS the lead.

TMS tried to keep up, producing a fair share of offensive and defensive highlights. However, it didn’t take long for FMS to build momentum, string together a run, and secure the first-set victory, 21-11.

In the second set, TMS started to find their confidence. Peter Camacho and Kinluk Sharry stood at the frontline throughout most of the exchange with more attempted blocks and spike finishes to keep FMS on their toes.

However, FMS’ spirit could not be broken as they continued to have an answer for every point scored by TMS to emerge victorious again, 21-16, and secure their third straight win.

Winners, too

Joining the winner’s circle were  FMS II, which outlasted Chacha Ocean View Middle School II in a three-set battle, 21-14, 21-23, 15-3; Agape Christian School, which slipped past Hopwood Middle School in another three-set game, 21-18, 21-23, 15-13; and HMS II, which outplayed Dandan Middle School II, 21-16, 21-11.
