GRACE Christian Academy School and Garapan Elementary School defeated their respective opponents in the elementary division of the NMIFA-PSS Interscholastic Soccer League SY23-24 on Wednesday at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.

GCA silenced San Vicente Elementary School, 4-0.

GCA’s aggression was their biggest strength. Within the very first minute, they had already made their way deep inside the penalty area looking for a shot.

As SVES attempted to protect their turf, they accidentally scored in their own goal, which gave GCA the lead, 1-0.

SVES learned from their mistake and stood their ground midway through the opening half.

But GCA remained superior on the offensive end as they managed to set up Chloe Sariol with two scoring opportunities. She delivered at the 12th and 15th minute marks while teammate Kim Mikald squeezed in another goal to extend the lead, 4-0, going into halftime.

Although SVES played better defense in the second half, they were unable to score and had to accept defeat, 0-4.
