Hambros, Tudela lead Rollers vs. Lynn’s BBQ, 102-82

Tudela assured the Rollers a strong opening as he poured 12 of his 27 points in the first quarter.

Hambros also showed an early streak.

Manolo Manalo and Christian De Vero however, were also heating up for Lynn’s in the said period so the Rollers were only able to set a one-point cushion at the end of the first quarter.

Deleon Guerrero took over in the second quarter firing eight points including a three-pointer and two free throws as Tudela and Hambros watched from the bench.

Jomar Danas fired a pair of two-pointers to keep the lead at the end of the first half.

Hambros sizzled with 15 points and Tudela had nine points as the Rollers widened the gap, (67-54) in the third quarter.

R. De Leon Deleon Guerrero rampaged with 10 points, Hambros kept the adrenaline surge in the fourth quarter and Savali Talalemoto added a pair of two-pointers in this period to secure their lead.

Hambros tallied a total of 34 points for the Rollers.

On the other hand, Manalo led Lynn’s BBQ with 21 points and Christian Devero added 17 markers.

Strikers 71, GEC 65

Last Monday, James Camacho scored 23 points and JR. Cadag, 20 points to lead the Strikers over GEC.

Camacho helped put up the lead in the first quarter as he poured in seven of his 23 points.

However, GEC caught up in the second quarter with Bernard Aquino kept his scoring spree while Dennis Morales fueled up to help GEC take the lead.

This prompted Cadag and Camacho to keep going and sank eight and seven points respectively to regain the upper ground in the third quarter.

Camacho added seven points and Cadag hit six more and the Strikers secured victory.

Aquino totaled 25 points in a losing attempt.
