GAB Camacho and Jun Hernandez of HBR scored 12 and nine points respectively to help their team beat Tsingtao JTM in a game of the Win Pacific Corporation Invitational Basketball League at the Gualo Rai Basketball Court on Saturday.
In the first quarter, Camacho fired six points while teammate Ram Agusto contributed four to give HBR a three-point lead.
For their part, Tsingtao’s Gian Aquino delivered two consecutive three-pointers while teammates Patrick Morales and Arjay Giron scoured outside the arc to overtake HBR toward the end of the second quarter.
But HBR regained their lead in the third quarter, with Camacho scorching inside while Dhey Quiambao bombarded Tsingtao with two three-pointers.
Louie Leightley contributed eight points for Tsingtao, but to no avail as HBR’s Arfin Chua delivered two two-pointers in a row to seal the deal for his team, 57-46.
