In the opening ten minutes of the game, Sid Qwon of team Superstore was able to drive through Marianas Rersort’s defense and score 8 points in the first few minutes of the game together with teammate Tee Alfonso who contributed 5 points to his team’s final score for the first quarter. Marianas Resort was only able to shoot one 3 pointer and 4 points together. That gave team Superstore an opportunity to grab an early 5 point lead by the end of the first quarter.
As the second quarter rolled in Jayson Gatdula of team Marianas Resort scored 8 points in high hopes that this would close the gap between them and the opposing team. His hopes were crushed as Superstore’s Sid Qwon bagged 8 points playing along with teammates Eufemio Feria and Alex Lauron who scored 6 points a piece to widen the gap farther by 17 points by the end of the second quarter.
In the third quarter, players from Marianas Resort were only able to slip past Superstore’s defense to bag 16 points throughout the 10 minutes given to them and the rest was history. Joeten Superstore’s Sid Qwon, star player for the afternoon, bagged another 8 points playing fiercely side by side with teammates Eufemia Feria who contributed 6 points to the team and Dexter Mendiola who scored 5 points for the team to end the quarter with a 21 point gap over the other team.
In the final ten minutes of the game Marianas Resort was only given a chance to score another 18 points to reach a final score of 55 points while team Superstore bagged the game ending with 85 points as the siren rang to end the game.
