Jr. Nationals have come a long way in the season, having crushed several teams to post an 8-0 win-loss record during the elimination series.
It has overthrown Rollers II, Suns, Kontenders, Sixers, Rollers I, and other member-teams in the league in lopsided score.
Capitalizing on the offensive moves of Marvin Rabauliman and Jericho Cruz, and defensive stance and assist of Allen Moses, Dimps White, Heartim Williams, and John Villagomez.
Despite their small roster, they were able to advance to the playoffs wherein they beat Sonics – one of the strongest teams.
Eventually, they also overpowered an equally fast and clever team – G-Stars.
And now they are on their way to final stage in the game.
Meanwhile, G-Rollers I have demonstrated their prowess in the hard court with cunning fastbreaks and dynamic defense, having pounded Suns, Saints, G-Stars, Rollers II, and the others in past matches.
The team basically has the number and the height to go the distance. The likes of don Teregeyo, Manny Matagolai, Jomar Danas, Rainier DeLeon Guerrero, and several other of its members.
These assets, plus the speed and agility of Fredo Paez should make the team’s opponent be wary to move inside the zone.
Tonight, the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium will again thunder as Jr. Nationals and G-Rollers I battle it out for the championship crown.
