Konflikts pound Marianas Wireless, 108-87

Sam Fernandez led the Konflikts’ offensive by the fourth quarter, shooting for an unstoppable 11 points. Followed by seven more points from Brandon Talania and five from Bruce Berline, the Marianas Wireless barely stand a chance in catching up, ending the game with 108-87.

The Konflikts’ momentum originated from the first quarter, where they managed to push for 21 points.

Konflikt’s Brandon Talania and Melvin Capalad contributed their share of 12 points from a few handy lay ups, along with an extra three pointer from Bernard Aquino.

Talania eventually racked the highest score in his team with 27 points, but even he did not match up to the 38 points that Tony Diaz earned from the game.

Diaz was well focused in the second half, scoring 36 points in both the third and fourth quarter. Despite his effort however, the Marianas Wireless was too late in recovering itself against the Konflikts.

While Elmer Esdrelon supported the Konflikts with his usual three pointers, Berline played his role as key rebounder.

Fernandez and Talania easily drove past Marianas Wireless defenders in the second half, earning the Konflikts victory.
