Kosam netted 64 from a gross of 83 during the qualifier held at the Coral Ocean Point on May 25.
Last Sunday’s first placer Lou Tilipao was three strokes higher than Kosam’s net.
There those who scored lower than Tilipao but his double digit handicap pulled the net down to impressive 67.
Tilipao fired 9 over par 81. He shot 5 over par 41 in the front and 4 over par 40 in the back.
Joe S. Demapan who won the Ace of Month for May settled for second place as he scored a gross of 82 and netted 69.
Tars Olopai was in a three-way tie with Bill Kaipat and Joe Lizama in third place with 71 net. However, he won on a score card playoff in the front nine net.
Dwain Stephens won the closest to the pin in hole No. 3 and Joe Wabol in hole No. 14.
Meanwhile, four guest played during the RGA June Ace of the Month. They were Henry Mangofna, Serafin Pablo who visited from Guam, and his brothers, Rey and Ton.
The RGA welcomes new member, Dwain Stephens and Manny Mangarero.
The RGA will hold its qualifying tournament for July Ace of the Month in conjunction with the St. Jude Parish Church Golf Tournament in Laolao Bay Gof Resort’s west course in July 21.
