KY Angels beats Team Penthouse

Started out as very cold but was able to sneak past their competitor in the first set with a score of 25 – 21, KY-Angels bowed down to the much younger but quicker Penthouse team, 20 – 25, to force a third and deciding set to determine who will finish the tournament on the third spot. However with one set a piece, the Angels did not give any chances for Penthouse boys to get back in the game. Sherman Kelmal pounded his opponent with his mighty unorthodox – like kills that rocked the Palau High School (PHS) Gymnasium time and time again. Team mate Hadley and Irvin added insult to injury as they were able to hammer down volleyball at the front and back line that developed a 10 – 0 unanswered rally points in which the Penthouse boys could match.  To end the agony of their aggressors, Sherman once again connected with his setter to create a perfect set the resulted to another spectacular kill that turned off the lights for the Penthouse players with a final score of 25 – 20, 2 sets to 1.

As for the most awaited exciting best of five championship match between the top rated Koror Team and Team Ranchers, it will be played Thursday, 6:00 in the evening at the same venue of the PHS Gym.
