True North Langilang may have settled for second place in Thursday’s Flame Tree B division regular season of the 2025 SEDA Bud Light Dart League, but they earned their moment in the spotlight after defeating top seed Bravo Dart Killahs, 9-4, in the finals last Thursday at Bravo Kitchen & Bar to claim the Bud Light Cup title.

The evening began with both teams evenly matched. Dart Killahs got off to a strong start in the opening Partners 501 set, with Ian “Rosek” Norita and Aaron Arriola securing the first game. They were the only winning pair for the home side, however, as Langilang’s JJ Nekaifes and Rodney “Prodigy” Norita responded by taking the second game, bringing the match to its first deadlock, 1-1.

In the singles, neither team gained an early advantage. Norita and Jemma “BadShot” Manibo showed precision under pressure, winning the first two games of the Singles Crazy Cricket set. But Langilang answered back, with Nekaifes and Richard Norita capturing the next two games to keep it tied at 3-3.

The back-and-forth continued in the Partners 701 set. Norita and Arriola’s chemistry netted Dart Killahs the first game, but Langilang’s Norita and Ben Seman secured the second, leaving the score at 4-4.

The turning point came in the Singles Half-It set. Steve “RoadKill” Santos ignited Langilang’s run, breaking Dart Killahs’ momentum. His win sparked a rally as Nekaifes, Seman, and Jayphill Bernard followed with victories, earning four consecutive wins to take the lead, 8-4.

With only three games left, Dart Killahs conceded defeat, ending the night at 9-4 in favor of Langilang, who hoisted the Flame Tree B Bud Light Cup in celebration.

True North Langilang’s roster features John Joseph Nekaifes, Steve “RoadKill” Santos, Ben Seman, Gabriel Rabauliman, Rodney “Prodigy” Norita, Jayphill Bernard, Marvin Seman, Richard Norita, and Naven “Nerf” Santos.
