Laniyo hits grandslam for Brotherhood’s shut out win over Falcons, 16-0

He also pitched in five scoreless innings shutting down the Falcons for Brotherhood’s three-game winning streak.

During their 7-3 victory over Koror Bombers last week, he scored only on base-on-ball to score a run in the fourth inning.

Yesterday, Laniyo loaded the base in the second inning and shut out Brotherhood drove in three-run RBIs. In the succeeding innings, he hit three more RBIs.

Pitching the scoreless five straight innings, Laniyo struck out three.

Choll Aces 10, PIC 9

Choll Aces was trailing in the first to sixth inning when they crept back and snatched the victory from PIC, 10-9.

The score was 9-6, on PIC’s advantage at the bottom of the sixth inning, and when the top of the seventh came, Darwin Masaharu and Manny Sablan rallied to push Choll Aces from behind scoring four straight runs.

Masaharu hit a two-run triple sending Sablan and Brandon Hocog to the homeplate.

Sablan homered, went 3-for-4 and hit two RBIs sending himself and Dennis Renguul score runs.

PIC’s Tommy Kerington in a losing effort also hit a home run and went 4-for-4. He hit an RBI and scored two runs.

Kevin Carey hit three RBIs and went 3-for-3.

Ready Mix 15,  Sai-pal 5

Jack Saralu was 1-for2 and hit two RBIs allowing Audy Maratita and Dave Lizama to score runs.

RJ Attao went 2-for-2, scored two runs and also sent Lizama home for an RBI.

Henry Palacios went 3-for-4 and hit an RBI to score Rey Cepeda.

Palacios struck out two as he pitched seven straight innings.

Sai-pal’s Gloyd Martin homered and went 3-for-4. He also hit two RBIs to score himself and Poland Masaharu in the fourth inning.

Auel-Auel 14,

Koror Bombers 2

Mike Taitano went 3-for-4 and hit a triple. He hit an RBI to score Max Kadiasang.

Mel Aldan went 2-for-2 and drove-in Ben Taisacan twice and Martin Ayuyu for three RBIs.

The winning pitcher was George Lucian.

Ohm Sakau 20, Atu Asi 5

In women’s division, Melissa Benjamin hit five RBIs as she went 4-for-4. She homered twice and scored five runs.

Roquita Norita also hit anb inside the park homerun and went 5-for-5. She doubled and hit five RBIs.

Winning pitcher, Panuello Dolorina had four strike outs.

Estab Ombe wins vs 670 on forfeited game.

Esta Ombe bounced back from their 13-2 loss during last week’s game from Sakudi, as they defeated 670 by forfeit.
