Latte Football Club’s Eun Benavente takes a heavily contested shot against Matansa Football Club during a masters division game of the Dove Women’s League Fall 2024 at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.

THE Latte Football Club collected their third win in the masters division of the Dove Women’s League Fall 2024 by silencing the Matansa Football Club, 2-0, at the NMI Soccer Training Center on Thursday last week.

It was an intense match from beginning to end as LFC used constant defensive harassment to cook up transition plays that allowed Irene Cristobal to score at the 4th minute mark for the lead, 1-0.

Although LFC was able to penetrate again, Matansa adjusted accordingly and held their own for the remainder of the first half.

In the second half, MFC defended their turf well. However, at the 45th minute mark, LFC utilized ball movements to create an opening for Rosemarie Chisato, who freed herself from the scuffle and found the back of the net to further extend the deficit, 2-0.

MFC tried to fight back, but could not muster enough strength to score and had to settle for defeat.

Paire vs Kanoa

Paire Football Club blanked Kanoa Football Club, 5-0, to remain undefeated.

Paire was nearly unstoppable in the early stages of the match, scoring five goals in the first half. They were led by Marisol Ladino with two goals while teammates Shawna Brennfleck, Angie Ruiz, and Lindsay Davis contributed one each.
