According to Little League District Administrator James Ada, the players from the Majors Division arrived to Manila, Philippines, only to find out that there were not enough available seats for a connecting flight to Indonesia. Unlike the other divisions, the Majors were set for a separate tournament located in Surabaya, another city in Indonesia.
The group was stranded in Manila for about four days. If they were to continue with their flight schedule, they would arrive at Surabaya only in time for the closing ceremonies. As a result, they chose to return back on island, where they arrived last Monday at 1:40 PM.
