Lizama rallies Bombers to 7-6 win over PTI

Highness Asanuma went 3-for-3 with one triple and two singles.

Bombers were tailing PTI after the third inning, 4-1, when they drove in five straight runs to take the lead 6-4, in the bottom of the fourth.

Manny Cabrera reached the first base after an error by PTI’s Frank Cruz.

After Newman Techur was struck out, Lizama came for the rescue with a single.

Kyle Kaipat hit a double driving Lizama and Cabrera to score runs.

Then, June Lizama hit a double sending Kaipat home.

Mario Aguon had a single, and Asanuma’s single drove in Jun Lizama to score a run. Then, Sean Borja had a single allowing Aguon to score.

In the top of the fifth inning, the Bombers tied the score 6-6 as they scored two more runs to the ball game.

Both teams ended up scoreless in sixth inning but in the bottom of the seventh inning, Aldan hit the tie-breaking single then, advanced to the second by Cabrera’s single.

Techur came to bat and sent Aldan to score the game-winning run.

Ngiwal “79”  13, Haga T 3

Dustin Quitano hit a couple of doubles and scored three runs to help Ngiwal rout Haga T, 13-3 in the next game.

 John Terlaje went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs.

Isaac Jeff homered and went 3-for-4, had two RBIs and scored three runs.

Thomas Sakuma pitched straight into the sixth inning shutting out Haga T to lead the game into a 10-run rule. He allowed three runs and gave up eight hits and one strike outs.

Brotherhood 10,

Choll Aces 6

In the succeeding game, Jerry Ayuyu homered once, went 2-for-3 and had two RBIs, and Ben Tagabuel went 2-for-2 and scored two runs to help Brotherhood rout Choll Aces, 10-6.

Manny Sablan went 3-for-3.

Elias Rangamar gave up one strike out and allowed six hits.

Ready Mix 9, Falcons 5

Jun Saralu went 2-for-2 with a single and one double. Dave Lizama went 3-for-4, scored two runs and hit three singles.

Byron Kaipat had one single and scored a run.

Henry Palacios struck out three times and gave up seven hits.

Man Amigos 8, PIC 5

Ben Jones hit an inside-the-park home run and went 3-for-4.

He also scored three runs to help Man Amigos beat PIC, 8-5.

Mike Sablan gave up nine hits and had no strike outs.

Esta Ombe 14, Atu Asi 13

In the Women’s Division, Liz Lebria went 3-for-3 with a single and a double. She homered to send Esta Ombe to 14-13 victory over Atu Asi.

Polly Omechelong went 4-for-4, homered twice and had three RBIs.

Claire Mobel went 2-for-2 and Omechelong pitching one of her bests in the tournament giving up six strike outs and allowed 13 runs.

Meanwhile, the Hitters won by forfeited game against 670.
