(SCC) — With about two weeks remaining, the Saipan Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its highly anticipated 17th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, set for Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the West Course of the LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort.
As one of the Chamber’s signature fundraising events, the annual tournament brings together the business community for a day of friendly competition, networking, and meaningful impact. Proceeds directly support the SCC Scholarship Program, which provides financial assistance to local students pursuing higher education and workforce training opportunities throughout the CNMI.
This year’s tournament will once again feature a Two-Person Scramble format, welcoming golfers of all skill levels. Participants can expect a full and exciting day on the course, beginning with a 6 a.m. showtime and a 7 a.m. shotgun start at one of Saipan’s premier golf destinations.
In addition to the camaraderie and competition, this year’s tournament is set to elevate the player experience with a variety of prizes and on-course excitement. Golfers will have multiple opportunities to win, including Hole-In-One grand prizes on select holes, cash awards for top-performing teams, and special contests such as Longest Drive and Closest-to-the-Pin. Throughout the day, players can also look forward to raffle drawings featuring sponsor-donated prizes, team giveaways, and a few surprises along the way — all designed to make the tournament both rewarding and memorable.
Teams are strongly encouraged to register soon as key deadlines approach. Monday, April 13, 2026, at 5 p.m. marks the final day to take advantage of the Early Bird registration rate of $260 per team. After this date, the regular rate of $280 will apply. Optional play packages are also available at a discounted rate of $40 during early registration and $60 thereafter. Final registration will close on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 5 p.m.
The Chamber proudly recognizes the generous sponsors who continue to make this event possible. Hole-In-One Sponsors include AP Group, LLC; Atkins Kroll (Saipan) Inc.; Marpac Distribution, Inc.; and Triple J Saipan Inc., with additional support through a combined Hole-In-One and Raffle Sponsorship. United Airlines joins as the tournament’s Gold Sponsor. Silver Sponsors include Assurance Brokers, Inc. (Saipan) dba Risk Solutions, Bank of Guam, and Marianas Variety. Bronze Sponsors include 500 Sails, Matson, Latte Built Fitness, and Azarvand Tax Law. Event Sponsors include Century Insurance, Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan, D&Q Saipan Co. Ltd., Northern Marianas Tech, Union of Professionals Corp., and Marfega Trading Co. dba Islander Rent-A-Car.
For years, the SCC Scholarship Program has played a vital role in supporting students across the CNMI, helping to strengthen the local workforce and invest in the next generation of leaders.
