JONNY’S Boozeye, along with six other teams, came out victorious over their respective opponents during the first round of the Flame Tree B Division Bud Light Cup Tournament of the 2025 SEDA Bud Light Dart League on Thursday at various locations.
Jonny’s Boozeye nearly recorded a perfect game as they bested Tom Yum Puff Daddy, 8–1.
The night went by quickly, with Boozeye setting the pace early through the pair of Jose “Bozu” Villagomez and Noki Torres, along with Joey “Too Sexy” Pangelinan and Frankie Camacho, sweeping the opening Partners 501 set for a 2–0 lead.
Darwin Sablan and Villagomez followed suit, showcasing their individual skills with back-to-back wins in the first two games of the Singles Crazy Cricket set. Despite Puff Daddy’s Jeffrey Isaac collecting his team’s first win during the third game, Boozeye shrugged it off as Zack “Bazik” Cruz secured the fourth game to maintain a comfortable advantage, 5–1.
Boozeye then resumed dominance in pairs, sweeping the Partners 701 set, while Sablan claimed the first game of the following Singles Half-It set to notch the eighth and final win needed to seal the match, 8–1.
The six other teams that advanced include Spicy Thai Take Flight, who defeated Last Shot Taya Mana’i, 8–4; The Hut Darts d Way I Like It, who topped Tom Yum Tons of Bulls, 8–3; and Marvz Bombers, who beat The Hut Bullseye Banditos, 8–4. Also advancing were 6JMS No Fear and True North Langilang, whose results were not available at press time.
