THE 2025 SEDA Bud Light League Fanihi B Division Bud Light Cup semifinals featured an intense match on Monday, as Black 8 Dank Shooters Dark stayed cool under pressure, fending off a spirited late-game rally from Tambayan Distorted to secure an 8-5 victory at the Black 8 Pool Bar.

The night began with a statement of intent from Dark Shooters, as Jesstin Laniyo and Napu Santos took the first game of the opening Partners Double In/Double Out set. Though Distorted’s Lino Olaitiman and Ton Rangamar captured the second game to keep things close, momentum remained firmly with Dark Shooters.

The turning point came during the Singles Crazy Cricket set, where Santos, Laniyo, and Chioni Dela Cruz delivered clinical finishes to go on a 3-1 run and take a 4-2 lead. Dank Shooters extended their advantage in the Partners 701 set with a 2-win sweep.

Distorted showed flashes of brilliance, with Devon Pangelinan, Olaitiman, and Edgar Pangelinan spearheading a comeback during the Singles Half-It set, briefly narrowing the gap. But Laniyo and Santos reestablished control, securing the win before the final team game was needed, 8-5, and earning a spot in the finals.
