WILLIAM S. Reyes Elementary School remains one of the top contenders in the co-ed elementary school division of the PSS-NMIBF IT&E Interscholastic Basketball League SY25-26 after defeating San Vincente Elementary School 2, 18-7, Saturday at the Marianas High School gym, finishing the regular season with a perfect 5-0 record.

WSR’s strongest performance came in the opening quarter. Their defense set the tone, as constant pressure led to several steals and scoring opportunities in transition. In the second quarter, SVES 2 managed to step up their defense but still struggled offensively, scoring only two points to cut the deficit to 12-3.

During the third quarter, both teams gained confidence. WSR proved more effective offensively, with Laxamana scoring two consecutive baskets, while SVES 2 responded with two points from Madex Standish.
