SPECTATORS at Tom Yum Restaurant were treated to a closely contested battle Thursday night as Tom Yum Puff Daddy edged out the Hut Bullseye Banditos, 9-6, in a Thursday Flame Tree B division match of the 2025 SEDA Bud Light Dart League.
Puff Daddy leveraged strong performances in the singles and partners sets to secure a crucial home victory, though the Banditos fought valiantly to keep the pressure on until the final team game.
The evening kicked off with the 301 Double In/Double Out singles, setting the tone for a tightly fought match, with both teams splitting the games evenly. Puff Daddy’s Gary Ezra (27.36 PPD) and Jeffrey Isaac (37.63 PPD) secured wins, while the Banditos countered with victories from Roylan Nagaliza (17.71 PPD) and Inas Hocog (13.09 PPD) to make it 2-2.
The Partners Crazy or Wildcard Cricket set tilted the score slightly in favor of the home team. Puff Daddy’s pairing of Ezra and Isaac won their game, while Michael Ayuyu and Michael John also secured a point to take the lead, 4-2.
Despite splitting the following Partners 501 set, Puff Daddy answered with a 3-1 run during the Singles Regular Cricket set to remain in control, 8-4, effectively securing the win early in the night.
The Banditos continued to fight, splitting the next Partners Half-It set and claiming the final Team 1101, but ultimately fell to Puff Daddy, 9-6.
