(SCC) — The Saipan Chamber of Commerce has announced the resumption of its 17th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort – West Course.
The tournament was originally scheduled for April 25, 2026, but was postponed due to the unforeseen impacts of Super Typhoon Sinlaku and the ongoing recovery efforts across our island community. As recovery continues, SCC is excited to bring this signature event back and provide an opportunity for the community to come together in support of local students.
The Scholarship Golf Tournament is one of SCC’s signature annual fundraising events. Proceeds from the tournament directly support the Chamber’s Scholarship Program, which provides educational opportunities and financial assistance to deserving students throughout the CNMI. Despite the challenges faced this year, the Chamber remained committed to continuing both the tournament and its scholarship efforts for our local scholars.
The tournament will feature a two-person scramble format, with player check-in beginning at 6 a.m. and a shotgun start at 7 a.m.
Registration is now open and will close on July 20, 2026. Early bird registration is available through July 13, 2026, at a discounted rate of $260 per team, with an optional play package available for $40 per team. After July 13, the registration fee will increase to $280 per team, and the optional play package will be $60 per team.
