(Press Release) — Santa Soledad Parish proudly hosted its Golf Tournament Fundraiser on Oct. 26, 2025, at Laolao Bay Golf & Resort, in celebration of Father Rey D. Rosal’s 36th Priesthood Ordination Anniversary.
The event brought together parishioners, community members, and business partners for a day of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and generosity.
More than 20 teams participated in the tournament, united in honoring Father Rey’s milestone and supporting ongoing parish and rectory renovation projects.
The day concluded with a festive banquet and awards ceremony recognizing top players and raffle prize winners.
Father Rey expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed to the event’s success:
“We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support from our sponsors, donors, and volunteers. Your generosity and enthusiasm made this event a wonderful celebration of faith, community, and shared purpose.”
Special appreciation is extended to Laolao Bay Golf & Resort, Marianas Variety, Marianas Eye Institute, and Prophet CNMI for their generous sponsorship, as well as to the many individuals and local businesses that provided raffle prizes, refreshments, and in-kind support.
A special acknowledgment goes to the hole-in-one sponsor, Marianas Pacific Distributors Inc. for their generous $5,000 donation.
Proceeds from the tournament will fund critical parish and rectory repairs, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for all parishioners. Additionally, funds will support facility improvements and community outreach initiatives that help the parish continue sharing God’s love with those in need.
