WIN Trust and New Summit continued their climb in the Madflex Invitational Basketball League 2026, each notching wins over their respective opponents in games played Sunday at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.

Win Trust added another victory to its record, staging a fourth-quarter rally to defeat RedEye Rebel x Islander Rent-A-Car, 80-63.

The game opened as a defensive battle, with both teams struggling to find early rhythm. RedEye eventually broke through behind Lucero, who opened the scoring with back-to-back baskets, while Foronda added six straight points in the paint.

Win Trust responded with balanced scoring and unselfish ball movement, as De Vero, Claros, and Carlos chipped in four points each to take a 17-12 lead.

Win Trust carried that momentum into the second quarter, with Kim proving to be the difference-maker by consistently drawing fouls and converting from the free-throw line. RedEye fell into foul trouble, allowing Win Trust to maintain a 35-27 advantage at halftime.

RedEye regrouped in the third quarter, making defensive adjustments and mounting a comeback. Foronda and Movilla led the charge with six and five points, respectively, while Jaoquin and P. Movilla added key baskets, including a clutch three-pointer, to give RedEye its first lead, 50-48.

However, the advantage was short-lived.

In the fourth quarter, Win Trust regained control behind De Vero, Kim, and Claros, who combined for a surge of scoring while continuing to draw fouls for multiple three-point plays. Carlos added late baskets as Win Trust nearly doubled its output in the period while holding RedEye to just 11 points to secure the 80-63 win.

New Summit vs Blue Haus

In the second game, New Summit cruised to a 93-62 victory over Blue Haus.

From the opening tip, New Summit set the pace, with Tabora and Javier leading the offense and helping build a commanding 44-28 halftime lead.

Blue Haus attempted to rally in the third quarter, but New Summit maintained its offensive rhythm and controlled the game the rest of the way to seal the lopsided win.
