Because RJ Macaranas could not receive the check personally, it was issued to his grandmother, Darlene Macaranas at Joeten Shopping Center, Susupe.
NMJGL coordinators Jeff Taylor, Marian Aldan-Pierce, and Ed Manibusan were very glad to help out RJ Macaranas, as they continue to look forward in assisting other junior golfers around the island.
RJ started his first round of the Callaway Junior World Golf Championship in San Diego, California yesterday, where he will be representing the CNMI. He will then proceed to the US Kids World Championship in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Earlier in the month, RJ placed third place at the Southern California PGA Series and third place again at the Scholl Canyon Championship at the Scholl Canyon Golf Club.
